Broadway Rave

Broadway Rave

I recently went to a Broadway Rave with my friend Abigail. I had such a good time and wanted to share about my experience.

What is Broadway Rave

Broadway Rave is a touring Broadway dance party going all over the world. Everyone dresses up as their favorite character from a Broadway show. I went as Christine from Phantom of The Opera.

Costume

I loved my costume so much. I wanted to inspire my outfit off of Christine’s white dress from the movie. I used a top that I already had and bought a skirt from amazon for the outfit. My friend Abigail who I went with dressed as Anastasia.

Venue

The rave was at The Space LV. The Space LV is a small off the strip venue. There was a lobby and a room with a stage and a dance floor.

Themed Drinks

There were Broadway themed cocktails that were sold in the lobby. I got a blue drink inspired by the genie from Aladdin.

Photo Both

In the lobby there was also a photo booth to take pictures. Here is Abigail and I’s picture:

Song Requests

A little bit before the rave started, they let us into the room with the dance floor. On the screen there was a QR Code to request songs. Two of the four songs I requested were played.

DJ

The DJ for the night was amazing. She played such good songs and invited people on stage to dance if someone is dressed up as the show the song is from. I went on stage for Phantom of the Opera.

Performances

As I said, people could go up on stage if they were invited but you could just walk on stage if there is enough room on stage. I walked onstage when they played Rent which is anther one of my favorite shows. It was so much fun seeing everyone on stage. It was my favorite part of the night.

Overall Experience

I loved Broadway Rave. If you love musicals I would highly recommend going. You can find tickets here.
