Over my winter break I decided to do a series talking about different regions of California and talking about some ideas for restaurants in that region I am also going to recommend some of the dishes that I have tried at these places. The first region that I am going to be doing is Carmel Valley, San Diego. There are so many good restaurants here from local . I am going to go over the top four and recommend what to get from each place.
4. Burger Lounge
Burger Lounge is an upscale burger chain. They have other options as well. Here is what I recommend:
Sherly Temple
My favorite thing about this place is the craft sodas. There are many options including orange, lemon lime, and Shirley temple. I love the charry flavor of Shirley Temple. Also, it is pink which is my favorite color.
Onion Rings
These onion rings have the perfect amount of crunchiness and breading. A great side for burgers.
Truffle Mushroom-Swiss Burger
This is a great burger for people who love mushroom and truffle. This one was delicious but messy. I had to use a knife.

3. Luna Grill
Luna Grill is a Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in kabobs. It has other options as well. My family likes this place Here are some of the things I recommend:
Garlic Feta Sauce
I love the sauce. It is so good with kabobs and fries.
Roasted Garlic Lemon Chicken Kabob Plate
This is my favorite Kabob. Also, If you get it as a plate it comes with two sides and a sauce.
Apple Walnut Salad
I get this as a side for my kabob. I love fruit in my salads. Also, the fetta cheese and the salad dressing is super good.

2. Pacific Social
Pacific Social is a restaurant that serves a lot of different foods. There is something for everyone. Here is some of the things that I like:
Pretzel sticks
They are warm and soft. Also they taste good with the bear cheese.
Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad
This is a really good summer salad. I love the strawberries and candied pecans.

1. AYU Sushi and Noodles
Me and my friend Rachel went to this place for the first time when I came to San Diego over the summer, and I loved it. When I was writing this I was craving it again so my dad and I got takeout from AYU for lunch. Here is what I recommend ordering:
Bulgogi Pancake
My dad ordered this. It was so good. We both really liked it. There was also a specific sauce that went with it.
Philadelphia Roll
I always love Philadelphia Rolls. I love the cream cheese in them. This one did not disappoint.
Spice Tuna Crispy Rice
I loved this when I ordered it with my friend Rachel. I thought the rice was super crispy and I loved the sauces.
