P.J. Whelan’s Pub + Restaurant – Harrisburg Review

P.J. Whelan’s Pub + Restaurant – Harrisburg Review

Hi everyone, I have a super exciting announcement. I got a summer job at Hershey Park. I am heading East for the Summer! Pennsylvania here we come! The adventure starts now:

First stop, Harrisburg, the state capitol of Pennsylvania, and the P.J. Whelan’s Pub + Restaurant. I discovered this restaurant when I was about to move into my new place here, and my mom and I  stopped off for dinner. Here are some of the things that we ordered:

Mermaid Colada

This is my favorite thing that I got. It was a Pina Colada with Blue Caruso added to it to make it blue. Pina Coladas are my favorite cocktail so I was really happy with this. It was super refreshing.

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Chicken Wings usually are one of my comfort food favorites, and I got their garlic parmesan specialties. But were they as good as in Las Vegas? The wings were very crunchy and flavorful, so score one for Pennsylvania! There was also celery on the side.  All in all, they were quite good.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

This was another one of my favorite things that I ordered. My mom and I split a chocolate peanut butter pie and it was super rich.  I love peanut butter and this made for  a tasty dessert.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I loved this restaurant. It is a nice family friendly comfort food option if you are in the Harrisburg area, and it made a tasty welcome to Pennsylvania. I would highly recommend going if  you are in the Harrisburg area.
