Fontainebleau Las Vegas Review

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Review

Let’s talk about the wonderful new Fontainebleau Las Vegas Resort and Casino. As your favorite Vegas travel blogger, I scoped out the soft opening of this new resort. This was two weeks before its New Years grand opening splash.

Having finished up finals, my dad was in town to drive back to California together, so I took him along too. The short story is, we had a great time, and here’s all the details.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas Vital Statistics

#1  Theme: Miami chic. The Fontainebleau in Miami Beach is the biggest and grandest of the Miami resorts, so it is no surprise that for their new entry on the Las Vegas strip they chose Miami chic as a resort theme.

#4  Casino Size:  More then 150,000 sq. ft.

  • Don’s Prime (Stackhouse)
  • La Fontaine (French) (Reviewed below)
  • Mother Wolf (Italian)
  • Promenade food hall

Decorations

I loved the overall aesthetic of this hotel. It had a white, gold, and blue theme.  It also had bowties hidden throughout the hotel. An example of this is the little bowties on the bottom of the chandelier.  It was also super elegant which I loved. It was one of the prettiest hotels I have been to.

Food Options

Something I was really looking forward to about this hotel is the food options. There are 35 restaurants in the Fontainebleau. I decided  to try the brunch place La Fontaine  (pictured above). I chose this place because I love brunch and French cuisine. And, I have to say it was amazing. Kudos!

Here is what I got:

Strawberry Mint Mocktail

The first thing I got was a strawberry mint mocktail. It was super fresh and refreshing. My dad liked  it as well, so it can span across generations.

Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict

Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite brunch foods. This one was well prepared. The lemon sauce was tangy but not too sweet; loved it. Also the hash browns were real potatoes, well prepared as well; loved them.

Overnight Oats

My dad ordered overnight oats. He felt they were tasty, a bit crunchy, like real oats should be and a hearty tasty start to the day. He liked it a lot.

In conclusion, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the newest and Miami-chic-est resort entry on the Vegas Strip. I have to say the opening was a great experience for this Vegas blogger, and look forward to going back many more times. It will be fun to see this hotel grow and add its own imprint on the north end of the Las Vegas strip.

Who wants me to go back and try some of their other dining options!
